Change in the size of breasts:

Cause:

During pregnancy, female breasts become productive of milk. At this stage, milk glands swell and size of breasts becomes larger due to accumulation of fatty tissue. Sensitivity of breasts also increases. Due to an increase in blood flow, blood cells become large, and bluish veins starts showing up on the surface of breasts. In addition, the areolas, the circular area surrounding the nipples, may have pigmented circles and bumps on them. During the last three months, the nipples start leaking and secreting colostrum, the first milk produced by the breasts to feed the child. However, if colostrum is not produced, there is nothing to worry about.

Advice:

·        Wear brassieres you feel comfortable with.

·        Use disposable breast pads

·        Do not use soap on nipples since the soap will dry out the surface. You can use warm water instead to clean them.

Constipation:

Cause:

The main cause of constipation is the sudden increase in hormone progesterone. In addition, constipation may also be triggered due to the uterus being swelled during pregnancy causing the digestive tract to change its regular position.
