Hair Rebonding:

To get silky, shiny hair is all every woman desires. So, women often go for hair rebonding that uses sodium hydroxide which, by getting mixed with water, causes inflammation and allergy to the skin. Moreover, rebonding getting access to the body may mix with blood and cause harm to the baby.

Facial:

Although having facials is not that harmful, procedures that use excessive heat should be avoided since heat increases the body temperature which is harmful for the baby.

Applying Hair Color:

Though the skin absorbs a little amount of color during this procedure, and it is not much harmful for health, the body becomes too sensitive to endure such a little amount of chemical. Chemical ingredients of hair color might cause interruption to the child’s bodily growth.

Tattoos:

Tattoos, a great favorite with many a woman, have a little chemical effect, yet they increase the likelihood of infections, which may gradually cause Hepatitis B. so, avoid having tattoos during pregnancy.

Tooth Whitening:

Such a process is not recommended by experts as it involves chemicals harmful for the child. If you want to whiten your teeth during pregnancy, you should use natural ingredients like a piece of strawberry, bay leaf or lemon peel grind, etc.

Piercing Nose and Ears:

These actions do not have any direct impact on the child’s body, but they might be the cause of skin infections, further cause of different diseases.

While undergoing physical care, even for beautification during pregnancy, women need to be more conscious. You may follow the instructions below:

·        Because women become bulkier during pregnancy, they develop more creases which become the resort to dirt. Massage the whole body with lukewarm water once a week and use olive oil, rich in antioxidant, on abdomen after bath. This will stretch and firm your belly skin.

·        In order to increase brightness of skin, you can use any homemade face pack like that of honey, cucumber, carrot and fenugreek, which can be conducive to oily skin. Women with regular skin may use face packs made of undried turmeric, honey, fuller’s earth and lentils. Face packs made of soya bin powder, almond paste and carrot can be good for dry skin. You may use face wash containing extracts of neem and sandalwood before going to bed at night. Apply moisturizer after the face wash.

·        Stretch Marks: Having stretch marks is common for women during pregnancy. Apply Aloe Vera gel upon the stretch marks and after that use moisturizers made of sesame oil, coconut oil or Caster oil.

·        Dark Spots: Brown or black spots may become visible which, if neglected, may become permanent on skin. Prepare papaya face pack using half cup of papaya paste, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of honey and one fourth of a cup of yogurt. Apply the pack and leave for 30 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Besides, potato juice may help remove black spots. Take two slices of a potato and massage the areas with black spots for a while regularly.

In addition, drink water in plenty, so harmful and waste materials can be eliminated. Pregnant women should eat healthy diet in accordance with physicians’ recommended diet charts.

Women with pregnancy should wear loose clothing and use cotton fabric instead of synthetic clothes. For sound sleep, they should wear loose clothing while sleeping at night. They should use soft, comfy shoes instead of high heel shoes.
