When a Pregnant Woman should Avoid Traveling

According to many specialist physicians, traveling during pregnancy may create some complications. So as a pregnant mother, you may have to avoid traveling for your and baby’s safety.

Situations in which Journey is not safe for a pregnant woman:   

1. History of Miscarriage: If you have got through a miscarriage before or gave birth of a dead child you should not travel to avoid the repetition of the same accident.

2. Conceiving more than One Child: Though it is natural to give birth of twins, you need to be more careful during pregnancy. In this case, you may suffer from anemia, eclampsia, antepartum hemorrhage and other difficulties. So journey may harm you at that time.

 

3. Birth of Premature Baby: If your first baby is premature, you should avoid any kind of tour at next pregnancy. Because it will increase the possibility of the repetition of the same.

4. Conceiving at Overage: Naturally, you may have many health complications at over age. Conceiving at this time increase the risk level so you should avoid journey during pregnancy at over age.

5. High Blood Pressure: You may have high blood pressure during pregnancy which creates different types of problems for you. In this cases, you should not travel.

6. Diabetes in Pregnancy: Many pregnant women may have diabetes. If you don’t control diabetes, it may harm both you and your baby by creating various types of difficulties at the last stage. For this reason, journey is not safe for you during this situation.

7. History of Eclampsia: Many pregnant mothers may have eclampsia especially at the time of delivery. Sometimes it can be life threatening for both mother and the child. Doctors discourage journey for those who already suffered from eclampsia.

8. Pre- Eclampsia: Pre- eclampsia another common disease during pregnancy. It causes high blood pressure, overweight, foot swelling, headache, nausea, stomachache and many other complications. Journey in this situation is not safe at all.

9. Hyperemesis Gravidarum: Vomiting excessively during pregnancy is known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The pregnant mother may go through extreme deterioration of health. Journey at this situation is completely inappropriate.

10. Placental Abnormalities: If any pregnant mother suffers from Placental Previa, she may bleed with urine. In Placental Previa, baby’s head will not be in right position and the patient suffers from anemia. In this case, doctors discourage journey.

11. Problems in Uterus: If any pregnant mother has any problem in uterus like- not feeling the movement of the baby, pain in lower abdomen or bleeding, they must avoid traveling.

12. Abruptio Placentae: If the placenta gets detached from uterus and bleed, it is known as Abruptio Placentae. You may bleed in this condition. So you should not take the risk of a journey during pregnancy.

13. Ectopic Pregnancy: In Ectopic Pregnancy, the embryo may place in tube or ovary instead of the uterus. Bleeding after stopping menstruation is the main symptom of ectopic pregnancy. In that case, you need to consult with an expert immediately and cancel all tour plan.

14. History of Bleeding: You may bleed at any 3rd part of your pregnancy for various reasons. A pregnant woman who has this problem during pregnancy must avoid traveling.
