Excessive Hemorrhage: One of the biggest disadvantages of Copper T is you may have excessive bleeding during menstruation, as a result, the shape of your uterus can change. So you should use Copper T according to the shape of your uterus.

Irregular Menstruation: Many women claimed that not only excessive bleeding they also had irregular menstruation after using Copper T. If you also face problems like this, you should consult your expert without any delay.

Pain in Lower Abdomen: Sometimes you may feel pain in lower abdomen area after using Copper T or during menstruation. If Copper T is bigger than your uterus or some part of it came out of uterus may cause this pain. If you have this type of pain you must consult the specialist.

You can use a Copper T for 4 years and after that, you need to replace it with a new one. You need to change the Intrauterine Contraceptive Device after 1 year and have to check that the device is in right place in every 3 months.
